As businesses in Australia deepen their engagement with Asia, accounting and finance professionals are playing an increasingly important role in supporting organisations operating across the region.
In response, Asialink Business and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ) have announced a strategic partnership to equip professionals with the skills and knowledge to work effectively across Asia in an increasingly interconnected regional environment.
The partnership will provide more than 140,000 CA ANZ members with access to practical, flexible learning designed to support engagement with Asia’s fast-growing and increasingly important markets.
From working with clients, regional counterparts and offshore centres, to supporting organisations with operations, suppliers and partners in Asia, accounting professionals benefit from a stronger understanding of the region’s business environments, economic drivers and cultural contexts.
As the end of the financial year approaches, many professionals are reviewing their Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements and looking for relevant opportunities to upskill. Designed for busy professionals, the online courses offer flexible learning that supports both professional accreditation and the growing need to engage effectively with Asia.
Available through the CA ANZ Education Store, the offering brings together a suite of Asialink Business online courses, downloadable Doing Business in Asia country guides and CA ANZ-developed resources, providing members with high-quality professional development in one place. Participants who complete the courses will also be eligible to receive Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credits.
As businesses in Australia and New Zealand deepen their engagement with Asia, our members are increasingly required to operate across borders, cultures and markets. Through our partnership with Asialink Business, we are delivering practical, high‑quality learning that equips our members working in accounting and finance roles with the skills they need to support clients and organisations across the region with confidence.”
Simon Hann, Group Executive – Education & Marketing at Chartered Accountants ANZ
“This initiative builds on more than a decade of collaboration with CA ANZ and reflects an evolution in our partnership. It builds on Asialink Business’s established digital product suite and our ambition to deliver practical training at scale, equipping Australian professionals for success with Asia through partnerships with leading peak bodies such as CA ANZ.”
Catherine Mudford, Acting CEO, Asialink Business
Through this collaboration, both organisations aim to support professionals with practical tools and knowledge to navigate complex international markets and contribute to stronger economic engagement with Asia.
