2025 Emerging Leaders Forum Junior Secondary - Years 7 and 8
Support your students in developing leadership, teamwork, and intercultural communication skills, while addressing assumptions, stereotypes, and identity, and collaborating with peers across Asia and the Pacific to appreciate diverse perspectives.

Location
Online with face-to-face session at University of Melbourne. For each Victorian school, a max. of 20 students can be registered. For each international school, a max. of 8 students can be registered.
Price
All virtual sessions and the face-to-face day are fully funded. Any additional costs incurred through travel or for extra supervision are not covered by this funding. This program is provided by the Victorian Department of Education, in partnership with Asia Education Foundation.
About the forum
The Emerging Leaders Forum for Years 7 and 8 supports Victorian schools to embed global learning into their curriculum. It offers students the opportunity to collaborate with local and international peers on projects based on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, driving social change within their school communities.
The 2025 program includes three virtual learning sessions connecting students with peers from Asia and the Pacific. There is also an optional in-person event at the University of Melbourne, Parkville campus.
