Chinese Language Immersion Program

The Chinese Capability and Language Centre has developed a Chinese language & cultural immersion program for language students, which uniquely simulates a study tour in China. This program provides opportunities for participants to fully immerse themselves in Chinese language and culture. Students of all proficiency levels will participate in a range of engaging learning activities conducted solely in Mandarin. 

A hub of all things creative, our teaching team offers all participants Chinese experiences through Art and History, Film and Songs, Food and Shopping, and much more, providing opportunities for students to apply and improve their Chinese language skills while immersing themselves in a 100% Chinese-speaking environment.  

Participants delve into the heart of Chinese culture through visits to iconic Chinese institutions in Melbourne and interactive hands-on workshops in traditional arts such as calligraphy and paper cutting. Through meaningful and practical language immersion, students build confidence in their language-speaking abilities and strengthen their cultural understanding.
