Roundtables

An exclusive national roundtable series which focuses on how Australian boards can engage with China in a strategic and risk-informed way.

Chinese cityscape

This exclusive national roundtable series will take place in, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide.

Designed for directors and senior executives, the discussions will focus on how Australian boards can engage with China in a strategic and risk-informed way that aligns with Australia’s national interests.

China’s economy is shifting towards advanced technology, domestic consumption and green industries, reshaping global supply chains, and for Australian directors the focus is not whether to engage but how to balance opportunity with risk through informed decision-making.

Across the five-city series, participants will:

  • Strengthen China literacy and board-level capability

  • Address knowledge gaps relevant to risk oversight and strategy

  • Examine governance, geopolitical and regulatory considerations

  • Explore how boards can identify commercial opportunity while managing risk

This series aims to build practical China capability for informed, strategic decision-making in Australian boardrooms.

The roundtables are by invitation only.  For more information contact us as at asialinkbusiness-events@unimelb.edu.au
