Supporting the Australia Japan Youth Dialogue

Asialink Business is delighted to announce our support for the Australia Japan Youth Dialogue (AJYD). As a strategic partner of the 2019 dialogue, we are proud to support the next generation of Australian and Japanese leaders in this important and dynamic bilateral relationship.

Asialink Business CEO, Mukund Narayanamurti says:

“Japan is not only one of Australia’s closest and most significant economic, strategic and security partners. It is also a world leader on trade liberalisation, such as TPP-11, a driver of cutting-edge innovation, and a major contributor to global cooperation to address the big challenges our communities face.

“It has never been more important to ensure that emerging leaders from our two countries, across business, government, education and community sectors, have the deep interpersonal links and intercultural understanding needed to work together and solve our common challenges, now and into the future.

“Asialink Business’ support for the AJYD builds on our commitment to creating an Asia Capable Australia and our broad agenda of helping foster future leaders in Australia’s engagement in the Indo-Pacific.”

The Australia–Japan Youth Dialogue will take place for the first time in Tokyo, in November 2019. Building on the success for the inaugural AJYD (Melbourne in 2017), the dialogue will bring emerging Australian and Japanese leaders together to learn, share and contribute to the strong relationship that exists between the two countries.
